Do you want to be part of solving the crux of companies’ future growth, and are you an aspiring management consultant ready to ignite your career in designing commercial growth strategies?

At Implement, we are currently looking for the brightest students to join our Commercial Growth Strategy team. Specifically, we are interested in hearing from you if you are in your second or third year of your bachelor’s or first year of your master’s and would like to be part of a team committed to helping companies realise their top-line ambitions.

What will you be working on?

The content of your work will depend on your profile and interests, as we want you to take ownership of your career, but you can expect to be involved in projects focusing on commercial topics such as:

  • Growth Strategy: Collaborate with companies to define their path to increasing top-line revenue, often utilizing the "Playing to Win" strategy framework.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Assist companies in shaping their channel strategy, segmentation, value propositions, and more.
  • Brand and Marketing Growth: Support CMOs in elevating brands and connecting with consumers.

As a junior consultant, you will be working closely with experienced colleagues for clients from all kinds of industries, including retail, health/life science and logistics as well as industrial building processes and manufacturing. You can expect to work for major companies that need help solving complex commercial problems.

Your role and responsibilities

Your areas of responsibility will depend on your profile and the projects you are involved in. As you grow, so do your responsibilities. In the beginning, you can expect to be involved in areas such as:

  • Content creation for workshops, reposts and presentations
  • Workshop preparation, facilitation and documentation
  • Number crunching and data modelling for analysis
  • Customer interviews and research

When you are not working on client projects, you will have the opportunity to support internal business development and culture-building activities. Your daily toolbox will be PowerPoint and Excel, so while proficiency in these programs is not a must, it will be an advantage. You will work from our offices in Copenhagen as well as at the client as required.

The workload is flexible, with an average of 20-25 hours per week. We understand that you need to prioritise your studies and that there will be times when you will be busy with exams.

Who we are looking for

First and foremost, we are looking for students with a genuine interest in areas related to commercial growth.

Secondly, we are looking for someone who:

  • Is studying business, finance, economics and/or engineering and has an excellent academic record
  • Has a good balance of IQ and EQ
  • Is proactive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Is fluent in written and spoken English

We want you to be flexible and collaborative in your approach to work. You dare to challenge us while being curious and willing to learn from experienced colleagues. You are empathetic and have a genuine interest in people and building relations.

What do we offer?

You will become part of a fast-growing and entrepreneurial, Scandinavian-based consultancy, where you will be involved in client projects and work closely with experienced consultants, who will help you take your strategic understanding and analytical skills to the next level.

When joining Implement, you will become part of a growing company with plenty of opportunities for professional and personal development, and you will work with talented, ambitious and supportive colleagues. We have internal training opportunities for all our employees, and we continuously update and expand your knowledge through training, keynotes and workshops. In addition, you will be assigned a personal leader and a mentor to support and guide you on your learning journey.

We offer a unique culture, helpful colleagues and a company striving to redefine the management consulting industry from the inside. We seek fast change with great impact, and we love what we do. We work with a high degree of autonomy, and we support each other in our efforts to constantly become better at helping our clients create exceptional results.

The start date is flexible but preferably 1 November 2024.
