Are you a top student eager to help organisations become fit for humans and fit for the future?
As a Junior Consultant at Implement Consulting Group, you will get the opportunity to use your strong analytical and social skills to help lead organisations in unleashing human engagement and unlocking their business potential.
What you will do
Our People Strategy team is rapidly expanding, and we are excited to meet talented students who are curious about starting a career in management consulting at the intersection of people management, business, and technology.
The job content varies depending on our projects. You can expect to be working on a range of projects, such as:
- Transforming organisations, e.g. designing sustainable organisations and post-merger integrations
- Developing People & Organisation (P&O) strategies and driving transformations with a people-centred approach
- Optimising P&O processes and functions to create an exceptional employee experience
- Developing and optimising people technology and data insights to support the organisations of the future
- Driving P&O digitalisation through people technology strategy and implementation
- Leading project teams in close collaboration with clients
We expect you to work 2-3 days per week (approximately 20 hours), with flexibility during exam periods.
At Implement, you will approach change in a unique way. You will have the opportunity to combine analytical thinking with intuitive understanding – hard and soft knowledge – to address the problems the client is facing. Working closely with the client, you will define project goals and design the process that will guide them to where they want to be. And you will be with them every step of the way to ensure that change happens quickly and with great impact.
What you will bring
We are looking for young talent who:
- Have the right mix of analytical and emotional intelligence – individuals who can come up with the right answer and make it happen within the organisation
- Have 1.5-3 years left of their studies in a relevant field
- Are in the top 5% of their class
- Are fluent in both written and spoken English
- Have a genuine interest in management consulting and solving diverse problems in a variety of contexts
- Demonstrate curiosity in data research and analysis
- Are proficient in utilising technology and AI to work efficiently with intelligent tools
- Are quick learners who thrive on applying new concepts and tools, as well as collaborating effectively in diverse situations
- Are specifically interested in the intersection of people management, organisational design, business, and technology
Your work will include data modelling and analysis, presentations and preparation, as well as supporting the facilitation of workshops. You will also have the chance to influence the level of responsibility you take on, as we want you to grow and strive to create the best foundation for that.
We expect you to be flexible, cooperative, and comfortable working independently in constantly changing conditions. You are encouraged to challenge us, and you must be curious, eager to learn from experienced and passionate consultants. You are empathetic and have a sincere interest in people and building relationships.
What we offer
We offer an instructive, relevant, and versatile student job that provides you with a genuine opportunity to explore management consulting. By being involved in client projects and working closely with experienced consultants, you will enhance your strategic and process-related understanding. We believe Junior Consultants should focus on real client projects, so your main tasks will be client-facing rather than internal.
We also have an internal training programme for all our Junior Consultants, as we prioritise and value both your professional and personal development.
If you and Implement are a good match, there may be an opportunity for permanent employment as a management consultant after you complete your studies. This could be across any of our offices in Europe, so feel free to consider this opportunity if you are interested in moving abroad after your studies.
