Solution Day 2020
Would you like to participate in a one-day case competition with focus on solving a real-life supply chain case? Then join Implement Consulting Group and Novo Nordisk for Solution Day 2020 in Aarhus.
SOLUTION DAY is hosted by Novo Nordisk and Implement Consulting Group and is a concept aimed at students enrolled in a master’s degree programme or last year of their bachelor’s degree programme.
The focus will be on supply chain management and operations management, and the participants will get the opportunity to apply theory to a practical case.
The day will kick off with short presentations by Implement Consulting Group and Novo Nordisk, giving you the tools to dive into the supply chain case.
Afterwards, you will be working on the case for approximately 4-6 hours before you get the chance to present your solution in front of managers from Implement Consulting Group and Novo Nordisk.
At the end of the day, there will be a price ceremony, where you will have a chance to socialise and network with the other student participants and the people from Novo Nordisk and Implement Consulting Group.
By joining Solution Day, you will get insights into how Novo Nordisk and Implement Consulting Group use best practice tools and concepts within supply chain management to solve a real case within sustainable supply chains. The day will also give you great networking opportunities with professionals from both Implement Consulting Group and Novo Nordisk, giving you a chance to see what it’s like to be working within their fields.

Designing Novo Nordisk’s future production network
Every year, Novo Nordisk uses large amounts of energy, water and raw materials in the production and distribution of their products. Thus, Novo Nordisk needs to take action to contribute to a sustainable, healthy environment in the long term.
To get there, Novo Nordisk is adopting a circular mindset – designing products that can be recycled or reused, reshaping the business practice to minimise consumption and eliminate waste and working with suppliers who share our ambition.
Your assignment will be to analyse the current state, understand the challenges of the future and design a solution that deals with these challenges. You will get access to both qualitative and quantitative data, and you will get a chance to talk to both representatives from Novo Nordisk and consultants from Implement Consulting Group.
