COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact on our lives and our work. Things that we had not imagined to be possible have become a reality almost overnight. It is now a routine to be working remotely, and the people who are physically present at the workplace take serious precautions to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

COVID-19 has changed the way we work

These new ways of working have significantly changed the way we collaborate, and this is putting new requirements on employees and leaders at all levels. During the crisis, we have seen organisations being able to make decisions faster, to quickly upskill their digital capabilities and to sustain or even increase their productivity level.

Many organisations are now slowly returning to the workplace, and this is a good opportunity to reflect and learn from the successes and failures during COVID-19. As Winston Churchill once said: “Never waste a good crisis”. Many organisations are seeking to make permanent the successes from the crisis and to avoid returning to former inefficient behavioural patterns.

Three inspirational events on the key learnings on how to drive the new ways of working post-COVID-19

We have designed a series of three inspirational events to share the key learnings we have experienced in the field of leadership and HR.

The events take place on 25 June, 26 August and 22 September. At these events, we and our broad network of clients and experts share inspirational thoughts and experiences that are crucial in driving the new ways of working post-COVID-19.

On 25 June, the focus is on these two topics:

  1. How might we rethink leadership and the role of the middle manager that to some extent has been bypassed during the crisis?
  2. How might we reset the capabilities and position of HR to drive the ongoing transformation of work.
