How can you improve the decision-making process in S&OP by focusing on psychological safety?

Is it safe to make decisions in your company? And how safe is it to fail? To avoid the “blame game”, many of us do not want to make the wrong decision. But in today’s S&OP environment, we cannot simply rely on the process and numbers alone but need to embrace the psychological aspect of decision-making as well.

Without psychological safety, there is a risk of making wrong decisions, because we are not transparent, or we do not share the most realistic numbers. We need to understand what drives behaviour in our vital decision-making processes to support a psychologically safe work environment leading to timely and holistic decisions.

In a safe environment, we dare to challenge the givens and discuss a broader solution space. Having the right people around the table who dare to speak their mind and are curious and open-minded is key to quality decision-making in cross-functional planning.

Hosted by our specialists on the topic and a client, this webinar will provide you with insight into and inspiration on how to reframe your S&OP decision-making process to achieve better, timely and cross-functional decisions.
