Job content – Change with Impact

As a senior management consultant in our Energy and Climate team, you will work in the frontline of helping organisations develop strategies and solutions that tackle multiple dimensions of sustainability.

We believe that CCS (BECCS) is a mandatory technology solution in the climate ambitions. We have established a strong international CCUS/PtX team working with major players and public authorities in Scandinavia and several other countries on the topics. Being the leading business consultants in these rather new areas in several markets, we have an ambition to facilitate the emissions reduction of 5 MTA CO2 by 2025 and 15 MTA CO2 by 2030 across Europe as an impact of our projects. We are now looking for candidates who are committed to enabling the usage of CCS and P2X technologies.

Your role will typically include

 

• Designing and driving strategy processes at a corporate, business unit and functional level
• Analysing complex challenges and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses
• Envisioning, designing and testing innovative, strategic solutions and communicating results and recommendations convincingly in a highly structured manner
• Leading and facilitating change processes, interactions and workshops to engage and co-create with key stakeholders in global organisations
• Acting as the project manager and team leader of projects or taking responsibility as the workstream lead
• Being open-minded and prepared for a steep learning curve and applying new approaches to solving the most worthwhile problems today
• Participating in developing a truly unique team in the Gothenburg region

We are looking for people who

 

• Have 8+ years’ professional experience from central, relevant governmental organisations and/or companies within applicable sectors and/or a major consultancy
• Have proven consulting experience within energy/oil/gas/petrochemical
• Have good knowledge of Swedish governmental processes, Swedish subsidy regimes and CO2 allowances and/or Swedish climate politics
• Have a personal ambition to establish and lead a new service area in Sweden
• Are able to identify and execute on local market opportunities
• Have proven professional services sales
• Have proven project management skills
• Have the ability to work in both Swedish and English

Preferably, the candidate also has experience from at least one Swedish project within the area of CCS (Carbon Capture Storage) or CCU (Carbon Capture Usage) or Power-to-X and from work within several of the following areas:

• Strategy, B2B business developing or business partnerships
• Budgeting or private/public funding
• Programme planning, environmental impact assessments
• FEED study, technology evaluation
• Economic/technical optimisation of business cases
• Markets studies, tendering or sourcing
• CO2 emissions allowances (ETS) and ETS trading
• Socioeconomics
