Job opportunity — Malmö

Ready for a student job out of the ordinary?

Junior consultants to join our team in Malmo

Are you pursuing a master’s degree with planned graduation in 2023 or 2024, and are you looking for a career in management consulting?

We are currently looking for talented students who want a career in management consulting to join our team in Malmö. As a junior consultant you will get the chance to work together with experienced colleagues in live projects, interact with customers and take responsibility for deliverables. Just like a graduate consultant would. The only difference is that you do it part-time during your studies. Once you are done with your studies, our ambition is to offer you a full-time position.

We are a consultancy firm with Scandinavian roots, engaging in creating sustainable change and transformation. We are a bunch of curious nerds, working in a vast range of industries, sectors and disciplines. What unites us is a huge belief in the power of collaboration, a love of solving problems and a passion for creating impact for our customers. We are committed to leaving organisations and their people in a truly better place – more changeable, more engaged and better equipped for creating a better future.

Job content – Change with Impact

The role will be tailor-made according to the candidate’s competences and interests. You must have a genuine interest in deepening your knowledge and expertise within one of our recruiting practice areas combined with a desire to help organisations truly change.

Practice areas

  • Commercial excellence
  • Digital transformation
  • Operations, manufacturing and supply chain management
  • Strategy/commercial growth

Typical assignments include (but are not limited to):

  • Helping clients to identify and implement solutions to critical business problems
  • Preparing and performing presentations and engaging workshops
  • Advanced analyses and business case development
  • Creating strategic communication material
  • Preparing and supporting strategic decisions

The junior consultant programme is a possibility for students to engage in management consulting during their studies by working part-time. The workload will be approximately 20 hours per week. However, we also understand that you must tend to and prioritise your studies, and we are aware that there will be times when you are occupied by assignments and exams.

We are looking for people who

  • Have more than 1.5 years left of their studies in industrial engineering, supply chain management, strategic management, business and innovation management or similar with excellent academic results
  • Have outstanding analytical skills
  • Have great communication skills and are fluent in written and spoken English

·         Have experience working in Excel and PowerPoint

You love working with people and are keen on creating impact through an appreciate approach. You thrive on acting autonomously and have an independent point of view. You have an edge and can challenge us, but you also have a desire to learn from experienced consultants.

What do we offer?

We offer a job in a fast-growing and entrepreneurial Scandinavian-based consultancy, where you will quickly be involved in client projects and work closely with experienced consultants who will help you take your strategic understanding and analytical skills to the next level. At Implement Consulting Group, you will become a member of a consultancy ranked as one of the top 10 consulting firms to work for in Europe.

You will participate in our internal training programme specifically designed for our junior consultants, helping you to build the competences supporting you in your consulting career. If you perform well as a junior consultant and would like to continue the journey at Implement, our ambition is to offer you a permanent employment as a full-time consultant after you complete your studies.

We offer a unique culture, helpful colleagues and a company striving to redefine the management consulting industry from the inside: faster change with greater impact while loving what we do.
