Financial controller for expanding consultancy

Who are we looking for?

Preferably, you have 3-4 years of experience from a similar position or from working as an auditor at one of the Big Four. You work in a structured manner, enabling you to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

You have a positive and cheerful personality and love what you do. You are also conscious of your responsibility, and you appreciate a good and constructive collaboration. With your positive attitude and sense of service, you are able to handle the daily tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment. Finally, you are confident with IT systems and proficient in English in a business context, both written and spoken.

Join us as our new financial controller

Our Finance team consists of 14 people located in Hellerup, including our Head of Finance who will be your personal leader. As part of the dynamic Finance team, you will be assisting with annual reports, statutory accounting, tax, governance, TP, VAT as well as various ad hoc finance tasks. You will also be involved with our subsidiaries, working closely with the team in Denmark as well as our local office heads in Sweden, Norway, Germany and Switzerland.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Taking responsibility for timely and accurate yearly financial reporting and local statutory accounts.
  • Preparing for and conducting local audits.
  • Adding value as finance partner to the local office heads abroad.
  • Participating in financial controlling projects.
  • Assisting our Head of Finance and CFO with ad hoc tasks.

To succeed, you must:


  • Hold a master’s degree in accounting, finance, auditing or similar.
  • Preferably have 3-4 years of experience from a finance department.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Be responsible and open to change and be able to take the lead in process improvements.
  • Have a strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of how to best collaborate with multiple parties.
