Student Assistant for Power Platform Development
Implement Consulting Group’s Business Analytics team is looking for a student assistant to help maintain and improve our Power Platform solutions. In this role, you’ll work with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to ensure our reports and internal tools stay reliable, efficient, and user-friendly.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll be part of our ongoing work to develop, maintain, and support solutions built on Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and optimising data models and transformations for analytics
- Building, monitoring, and troubleshooting reports, apps, and flows
- Applying small fixes and updates to ensure solutions remain stable and user-friendly
- Supporting the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows
- Responding to user feedback and questions to continuously improve our solutions

What you’ll bring
To be a great fit for this role, we’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, structured, and communicate clearly. You’re likely studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree within IT, business, engineering, data/analytics, or a related field.
On top of that, you’ll probably recognise yourself in some of the following:
- You have some exposure to, or strong interest in, Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate
- You understand basic data concepts and can learn simple formulas (DAX or Power Fx)
- You’re familiar with SQL and relational databases
- You have some understanding of Basic DAX, Power Query (M), and Power Fx
- You know your way around version control tools such as CI / CD, Git, DevOps
What we offer
Business Analytics is our internal BI function, responsible for both the back end (Microsoft Fabric) and front end (Power BI and Power Apps) solutions across Implement. Our tools support client-facing teams with sales and performance insights and help back-office functions streamline internal processes.
You’ll join a dedicated team consisting of a BI lead, an analytics engineer, a people analyst, a sustainability analyst, and three student assistants.
