Graduate management consultants within HR, organisation, and the future of work

Do you want to be a part of a winning team that optimises, transforms and shapes the future HR organisation in some of the most prestigious firms in Northern Europe?

Have you ever heard the mis(?)perception of HR as an old-school support function that delivers limited value to the business? Are you convinced that future organisations should be fit for humans?

Joining Implement as a management consultant in our HR, Organisation and Future of Work team, you will build the future HR organisation that is both commercially oriented and aligned with the core business. Or more generally, you will support clients in building organisations where humans thrive, perform and grow. This is done by designing agile and capability-infused organisations, driving large-scale HR transformations through digitalisation of HR and applying advanced people analytics models to support people decisions. We have been a strong team since 2016 and are now an independent team due to substantial growth. If you want to be part of this exciting journey, then continue reading!

Who are we and why join us?

We are a Danish rooted consultancy, serving international clients since 1996. We are more than 800 consultants across six offices in Scandinavia, Germany and Switzerland, and we have experienced double-digit growth for 25 years. When joining Implement, you are not just joining another consultancy, you are joining an ambitious movement of dedicated, down-to-earth, skilled and hard-working geeks. You are offered some of the best working conditions in the industry to build experience and personal growth and an attractive performance-related remuneration and benefits package. We value a holistic approach to the individual and believe in personal autonomy and freedom under responsibility. It is embedded in the Implement culture that we care about our colleagues, and you will become part of a visionary company with the ambition to change the business of consulting and create change with impact.

What will you do?

You will work with key stakeholders from our clients (including C-suite executives, HR and organisational development leaders and specialists), problem-solve on their key issues and provide actionable recommendations leveraging your HR know-how and business sense.

We cover areas such as:

  • HR transformation (e.g. designing operating models, organisational design and post-merger integrations)
  • HR technology (e.g. people analytics, HR digitisation and data analytics)
  • HR process optimisation (e.g. creating an exceptional employee experience)
  • Capability building (e.g. business-driven competency and capacity programme for a strategically critical business area)
  • Organisational design (e.g. designing the operating model, organisational design and structure, governance and leadership of the organisation)
  • Future of Work with great emphasis on creating optimal condition to perform and grow talent in virtual or hybrid setups with changed requirements on workforces, organisational models and leadership

No single project is the same, so it is key that you have an adaptive, agile mindset. A common denominator for our projects is, however, that we transform organisations and HR processes, apply leading change management capabilities and constantly improve organisational excellence and performance.

Who will you work for?

As a consultant at Implement, you will spend 3-5 days a week at our clients, primarily in the Copenhagen area, but if you are up for challenges internationally, the sky is the limit. The clients are both C25 and similar blue-chip companies. However, we also help small- and medium-sized companies, both public and private sector companies, transform. You will typically spend the remaining 1-2 days at the Implement office in the historic buildings in Hellerup where collaborative workshops, educational training sessions, inspirational talks and cultural events take place on a weekly basis. In addition, we have energising Friday meetings, a yearly Strategy Tour and University, social clubs, Friday bars and parties.

What we need from you to be successful in this role?

We are looking for a person that brings the right mindset, has solid experience with HR and organisation and is a true team player. A person who brings something extraordinary to the table and embraces our culture. We don’t believe in boxing people, and our employees bring diverse backgrounds. However, the below requirements must be met:

  • Previous experience from one of the following fields: HR transformation, organisational design, change management, HR technology, people analytics and/or capability building
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills
  • Preferably 1 year of experience from a top tier management consulting firm or newly graduated
  • A master’s degree with outstanding academic results
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and in at least one of the Scandinavian languages
  • A natural networker who enjoys engaging externally and is comfortable with sales and sales-related activities
  • A genuine interest in people and helping others as well as a true team player

As a person, you are result-oriented, appreciate a collaborative working environment and is known as a likable, easy-going and fun person to be around. You love getting actively involved and can combine your knowledge and analytical skills with empathy.
