Job opportunity — Oslo

Want to execute projects in the real world?

Junior consultant with strong analytical skills to join our Norwegian office

We are looking for a talented student who wants a career in management consulting to join our Norwegian office as soon as possible.

Job content

We are not fixed on the job content but will adjust it according to the profile of the right candidate. We do this because we believe that it is important that you – already as a student – take ownership of creating your own career.

However, you must be keen on working with one or more of the following areas:

  • Differentiation and branding
  • Value proposition design
  • Channel strategy
  • Customer experience transformation
  • Sales strategy, sales leadership and sales operating models
  • Digital marketing strategy
  • Pricing strategy
  • CRM and sales infrastructure
  • Other topics related to growing the top line for our clients

You will be working approximately 1-2 days per week with the potential to work more. However, we also understand that you must attend to and prioritise your studies, and we are aware that there will be times when you are busy with assignments and exams.

What you will be working with

Working as a junior consultant at Implement, you will handle a variety of both internal and external tasks depending on the projects we are running. But as a junior consultant, it is our priority that you are in the field and on projects as much as possible, which means that your main tasks will be related to projects rather than internal tasks.

Your responsibilities will depend on the projects you are involved in but could include:

  • Content creation for workshops, reports and presentations
  • Number crunching and data modelling for analyses
  • Desktop research and customer interviews
  • Workshop facilitation and documentation

You will get the opportunity to influence how much responsibility you take on, and as you grow, so does your responsibility.

Do we make a match?

We are looking for people who:

  • Strike a balance between IQ and EQ. Grades and test scores are not everything to us – we also look for a human touch and personal match
  • Are proactive and comfortable working independently as well as in teams
  • Have minimum 1.5 years left of their studies
  • Are fluent in written and spoken Norwegian and English
  • Have a genuine interest in management consulting and specifically in creating growth for companies

We expect that you are flexible and collaborative in your approach to work. You dare to challenge us while being curious and willing to learn from experienced colleagues. You are empathetic and have a sincere interest in people and building relations.

What do we offer?

We aspire to be the best place for the best people, and we invest 15% of our turnover in developing our people through training and social activities that our junior consultants participate in on equal terms with everyone else. Most of your learning will come from the work you do on projects, and we offer an instructive, relevant and versatile student job where you will become familiar with management consulting through client projects and by working closely with senior colleagues. As you invest your time and efforts in Implement, we will do the same, and you will get a personal leader and a buddy to support you in your journey as an aspiring management consultant at Implement.

Basically, we want you to grow, and if we match your personality and you match our culture, it is our ambition that you grow into a full-time consultant after your studies.
