10 September

Join us for an inspirational breakfast where you’ll learn more about how to create the right prerequisites for a successful IT transformation by focusing on freeing up time, stability and energy for the key employees of the transformation. You will be introduced to six hands-on tools to free up time in the project period.

An average IT project lasts about 3 years. 40% surpass timelines. Half of all IT projects overrun budget, and only one third of all change projects deliver the intended impact. Therefore, IT projects become prolonged, more expensive and create less impact than planned.

But why are these change initiatives so rarely successful?

Release time for the employees who are driving the change

We often see that organisations start an IT transformation without having prepared their employees enough for the change that is to start. A key challenge is that key employees are still expected to keep their regular performance level alongside the implementation of a new IT system.

From our perspective, an important reason for the lack of success is related to a basic factor – time. If we want to be successful in our IT transformations, an essential prerequisite is to release time in the departments where resources are required to succeed. It will give key employees time to take care of tasks in the projects while ensuring that the department can still perform as required – even if employees are part of the project.

Tools to release time and create changed behaviour

An IT transformation requires time and energy. To succeed and maintain the change, it also requires changed work habits and routines.

Therefore, we have developed six practical tools to release time and change people’s habits and routines in everyday practice.
