For many manufacturing companies, the next big technology leap is digitally distributed production (DDP) using 3D printing – and the technology is already mature.

Are you curious about how you can use 3D printing in your company? Then join our morning seminar at Implement Consulting Group, where we will dive into the topic of additive and digitally distributed manufacturing.

3D printing is changing supply chains as we know them today. In recent years, the technology behind 3D printing has matured, and its prevalence and use has increased in areas such as:

  • Global supply of spare parts without expensive inventory and transport of components
  • Handling of rare variants (tail end) at lower costs
  • Reduced unit costs through simplified BOMs and reduced material consumption

But while the technology is both mature and widespread, few companies have fully embraced additive manufacturing and are realising its full potential in terms of cost, supply chain resilience and sustainability.

A seminar on AM technology and business opportunities

At the seminar, you will meet experts from Danish AM (Additive Manufacturing) Hub and Danish Technological Institute, as well as companies that are already using the technology to optimise their supply chains.

You will get an overview of AM technology and insight into the business application possibilities illustrated through concrete cases. The seminar will also feature presentations from global AM platform providers who will discuss the opportunities of third-party AM as an alternative to investing in their own technology.

The seminar is aimed at you if you are responsible for supply chain, purchasing, production or product development in manufacturing companies that are new to additive manufacturing or are just starting out.
