The project: Developing an operating model for an enterprise information management office

A multinational FMCG company founded a new enterprise information management office responsible for group master data management, business intelligence, analytics and data warehousing on a new cloud platform. Implement was asked to help professionalise the newly founded office.

Through a collaborative approach, we developed a “playbook” together with the client which included comprehensive descriptions for common ways of working, including use case portfolio management, roles, processes and deliverables for project lifecycles, agile delivery principles based on Scrum, architectural enablers, master data principles, governance processes etc.

The impact: An efficient and collaborating agile team with standardised ways of working

The project resulted in the development of an operating model for the enterprise information management office. With standardised ways of working, the office became an impact-focused, scalable, efficient and collaborating agile team that was able to grow into an agile release train.
