Student assistant within management consulting

We are growing our management consulting team in Stockholm and wish to bring in talented students. The student assistant programme is our primary recruitment pipeline for graduates, and therefore we are looking for students who want to pursue a career in management consulting.

The student assistant programme is a possibility for students to work in management consulting during their studies by working part-time. The workload will be approx. 20 hours per week. However, we also understand that you must attend to and prioritise your studies, and we are aware that there will be times when you are occupied by assignments and exams.

Job content – Change with Impact

There will be a variety of tasks depending on the current client and internal projects. At least half of the work will be done for external clients in co-operation with colleagues.

The job content varies, but includes:
  • Project and client exposure. You will work with the rest of the team
  • Delivering and communicating analyses on client cases
  • Preparing and participating in work- shops with clients
  • Participating in internal learning modules to acquire outstanding functional skills
Common project types:
  • Strategic reviews
  • Due diligence
  • Innovation sprints
  • Lean operations
  • Process improvement

We are looking for people who

  • Are studying in the field of economics/ finance/business administration or industrial engineering and management
  • Are in their final year of the bachelor’s programme or in their first year of the master’s programme and are among the best in their class
  • Sincerely want to become part of the management consulting industry
  • Are down to earth and enjoy working with people, both clients as well as colleagues
  • Appreciate a flat organisation where results are more important than hierarchy
  • Bring energy into a room

As a person, you have excellent interpersonal skills and can work cross-functionally with various stakeholders. You thrive on acting autonomously and have an independent point of view. We are looking for ambitious students with an edge, who can challenge us, but who also want to learn from experienced consultants.
