Bring your best self to work
Join us for a day with Mette Nørgaard on TouchPoints and Wendy Palmer on Leadership Embodiment.
Effective and successful leaders all have one thing in common – they know how to be present in shifting moments and they know how to come across. And you can gain a shortcut to achieving this presence by working directly with your body.
“Managers are responsible for monitoring how other people perform. But perhaps the job of management starts when managers give some thought as to how they perform — that is, how they come across and present themselves and how they show their presence.”Financial Times (US), 29 July 2019 – Stefan Stern
Many fast companies like Salesforce, Oracle and Genentech, as well as NASA and BlackRock, have discovered the shortcut to achieving leadership presence by tapping into Leadership Embodiment.
At this event, you will be inspired to tap into Leadership Embodiment. Together, we will explore how your physical intelligence is a shortcut to becoming better at leading and being led – and knowing when to do which. You will get to focus on how to handle the many stressful moments during a workday in a more relaxed, resourceful and resilient way.
We are therefore delighted and proud to present the founder of “Leadership Embodiment”, Wendy Palmer, and the founder of “Touchpoints”, Mette Nørgaard, who will share their knowledge and experience on how to practise physical intelligence in leadership.
At the event, you will be working with awareness of how our body reacts under pressure and get the opportunity to cultivate new patterns in the way you lead and come across in meetings and conversations. When we as humans feel “attacked”, we narrow our focus, become hypervigilant and defensive and limit our options to fight, flight or freeze. The body is our first responder. But when you embody greater physical intelligence, you can become more uplifted, open, resourceful and resilient – even under pressure.
