A new approach to digital process transformation

The second in a series of three seminars on Implement’s intelligent automation platform focusing on the services and automation layer.

18 November 2020

Are you curious about how to improve business resilience through digitalisation? Then join the second seminar in a series of three on Implement’s intelligent automation platform.

The inability to engage in the digital transformation of operations is a primary concern of executives worldwide. And although the digital agenda has been here for a while, 70% of all digital transformations still fail to deliver the promised impact.

70% of digital transformations fail to deliver the promised impact. But why?

Digital transformation is about changing the way people work and interface with each other and technology.

But change is not easy.

This is why we at Implement are working with an intelligent automation platform that eases adoption of new technologies. Combined with our people-centric approach, this ensures employee buy-in as well as a scalable platform for digital transformation.

Second seminar: Automation and services – intelligent document processing

We look forward to sharing our key lessons learnt from working hands-on with intelligent automation across the Nordics.

At this second seminar, we will focus on the automation and service layer of intelligent automation platforms. We will focus on how to execute and automate processes in various business areas.

Large ERP systems, cloud solutions and intelligent applications with incorporated artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities are all substantial automation drivers. However, companies fail to utilise their full potential, thus missing the competitive edge that follows such automations by e.g.:

  • Lacking integration possibilities
  • Absent user involvement and validation
  • Missing end-to-end automation focus
  • Not fully understanding the data landscape

Adapting these new technologies to specific business processes poses a challenge. When done correctly, the time saved and automation potential increase substantially. Combining the technology engines with the flow and insights of the orchestration and execution layer and the control and insights layer of the intelligent automation platform, companies can truly realise the benefits of automation.

At the seminar, you will get insight into a hands-on real-world automation and services client example and experience how a machine learning-based intelligent document processing service (enabled through robotic process automation) can greatly increase the efficiency, resilience and user experience of order processing automation.

In addition, you will be presented with a pilot approach to how to get started with automation and services and how to implement it in your organisation to ensure real business impact from day one.

Our aim is to help you reap the benefits of intelligent automation where humans and machines work together to achieve business objectives:

Impact of automation and services
  • Resilient and robust automation
  • Fewer human errors
  • Flexible towards changes in data structures
  • Faster ROI through automation of more complex processes
  • Easy human-in-the-loop integration
  • Full utilisation of company systems

Programme for the second session

  • Welcome and expectations
  • Why automation and services?
  • Enabling automation and services
  • Real-life case: automation of the order handling process at Geia Food Denmark
  • Other areas where intelligent document processing can be applied
  • Getting started with impact
  • Q&A and feedback

Three seminars unfolding enablers of successful digital transformation

We are hosting a series of three seminars addressing business challenges through an intelligent automation platform approach to digital process transformation.

Each seminar in the series covers one of the three modules in our intelligent automation platform: Process orchestration and execution, services and automation and control and insights.

Our platform consists of three modules, best explained by using the car analogy:

The dashboard (control and insights): Here you control the workflow, gain insights and make improvements. You get live process performance and process KPIs that enable you to do live case management and provide you with actionable business insights.

The steering wheel (process orchestration and execution): Here you run the processes where tasks, humans and machines are orchestrated in a way which enables you to achieve a flexible and resilient operating model. You map the processes digitally and delegate the individual process tasks between roles, humans and machines.

The engine (services and automation): Here we add additional horsepower to the intelligent automation platform. Through APIs and connectors, it is possible to utilise RPA, AI and machine learning in workflows in a manner which drives efficiency and scalability.

The intelligent automation platform addresses the shortcomings of current digital practices by moving beyond individual technological enablers towards integrating these in addressing business objectives.
