Prepare your supply chain with SAP IBP

SAP has developed the Integrated Business Planning platform, known as SAP IBP, as a response to a still more globalised and volatile world.

The requirements for the way we manage our supply chains are greater than ever before, and SAP IBP is the most advanced integrated supply chain management (SCM) platform available.

One of the key pillars of the new IBP platform is the ability to carry out scenario planning. To do so, the platform has incorporated an MS Excel component, which allows the user to work with subsets of data offline and carry out scenario planning.

In addition, the incorporation and integration of the SAP Jam solution give you a holistic collaboration environment where you can collaborate and communicate directly within the solution with internal and external process stakeholders. This platform is available on-demand (cloud solutions).

How can Implement help you on your journey?

As one of the leading experts on supply chain solutions based on SAP, Implement Consulting Group can help you make the right decisions on your journey towards a supply chain that matches an increasingly global and volatile world.

We have three predefined options:

Option A: Proof of concept – pilot in five weeks

Together, we identify the key requirements, and the main processes are built in IBP S&OP with the following outcome:

  • Running IBP S&OP pilot on the main process flows
  • Description of overall solution concept and architecture
  • Identification of main benefit areas
  • Three key requirements are listed and proven in the system
  • Rough estimate of implementation effort

This would cover the following processes: forecasting and demand review, supply review, demand and supply balancing and financial review. To carry through the pilot project, we need the following input: product master data, incl. cost and revenue data, supply network, incl. bottleneck capacities and sales history and stock figures.

Option B: Get relevant SAP IBP training by SAP and Implement

On a worldwide basis, Implement is one of the most acknowledged business partners of SAP, and we conduct a large part of the SAP IBP training in Denmark as well as at SAP’s headquarters in Walldorf, Germany.

We offer training sessions in Sales and Operations Planning Basic and Advanced, Inventory, Control Tower and Demand.
