An overwhelming amount of research shows that companies that invest in creating exceptional organisations are more productive, more valuable, more attractive, more innovative, more profitable and have superior stock performance than those that do not. These organisations crush the competition in every metric. To take a closer look at what exactly it is that these organisations do differently, we would like to invite you to an inspirational (by invitation only) one-day conference designed specifically for Scandinavian HR executives.

At the conference, our ambition is to give you concrete insights into future leadership development, change management, accelerated onboarding and people analytics. Or in other words to create a day of interaction, collaboration and exchange of knowledge where you are provided with inspiration, tips and tools from acknowledged thought leaders and experienced practitioners in a unique setting with peers from other large Scandinavian organisations.

Keynote speakers

Jacob Morgan – The Experiential Organization: How the Best Organizations Are Winning the War for Talent and Crushing the Competition

Investment in employee engagement has never been higher, yet scores have never been lower – how can this be the case? For decades, we have been investing in short-term “adrenaline shot” programmes such as free food or work-from-home Fridays with no impact for employees or the organisation. Instead of forcing people into outdated workplace practices, the world’s top companies are redesigning work around their people by focusing on three environments: culture, technology and the physical workspace. Based on Jacob’s ongoing research of 252 organisations, he will share why employee experience is the next big area of investment, what the top companies are doing, and how you can go about creating an “ experiential organisation”. The future of work is all about the employee experience.

Jesper B. Madsen, Maersk Oil – Transforming HR at Maersk Oil

Senior Executive HR Leader Jesper B. Madsen has 15 years of experience working in the field of people and organisation. He is particularly engaged in building culture and capability and in transforming HR so as to make people the leverage point for the success of the company. Jesper will share his thoughts and experience on how Maersk Oil is transforming HR as part of building an oil company of the future.

Lizzi Jakobsen, SKAT – Building a transparent organisation

In 2016, CEO Lizzi Jakobsen was hired by SKAT to clean up the EFI scandal and create a new organisation for the recovery of public debt in Denmark. She met a system of bureaucracy and lack of trust but is currently the leader of a transparent organisation with committed executives and employees, because she dared to go her own ways and insist on discouraging public opinion. Lizzi will talk about this journey and the sometimes hard-earned experience she made along the way.

At Implement Consulting Group, we strive to make a fun, inspirational, engaging and rewarding experience. We know that in order for new knowledge initiatives to live, they need to be discussed and blend in with existing processes in organisations.

Join, for instance, the Exceptional Employee Experience Lab and other sessions and workshops where we will discuss, explore and elaborate on how you can create exceptional employee experiences. We will work in teams on your exceptional employee experience through facilitated exercises and discussions. Bring your own cases, exceptional energy and be curious about what others are doing.

We want to challenge the way Scandinavian companies work with people, organisations and HR today. If you are up for this challenge as well, this conference is most certainly something for you.

Workshops

EX through HR strategy – Creating exceptional and data-driven employee experiences through HR technology

Digital HR. People analytics. The digital Generation Y. These buzzwords are all at the centre of expectations for the future of work. Join us for this session to get a deeper and practical perspective on:

  • HR technology as a driver of the exceptional employee experience.
  • How HR technology can help deliver on the promises of people analytics.
  • HR technology as an enabler of leadership and performance management.

Accelerated onboarding

Onboarding is the integration of new employees into organisations or projects. Creating the right conditions that trigger habit-loving humans’ openness to change is not easy, but what we have learned is that, quite often, it helps to work with the whole experience – meaning not only what we want to present or teach, but also how and where we do it. In this session, we will introduce an accelerated learning approach to onboarding and thus challenge (1) the current paradigm of the structural onboarding focus and (2) the assumption that only the duration of an onboarding programme predicts the impact of it.

EEE LAB

Join the Exceptional Employee Experience Lab where we will discuss, explore and elaborate on how you can create exceptional employee experiences. We will work in teams on your exceptional employee experience through facilitated exercises and discussions. So, bring your own cases, exceptional energy and be curious about what others are doing.

ACMP – Reduce emotional barriers

At this workshop, we will introduce you to a gameboard we were introduced to at the latest ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals) conference. The gameboard helps you create a simulation tool that facilitates dialogue and sense-making needed to provide clarity on the future. During the session, you will get:

  • An understanding of how this gameboard can drive real change through real-life cases.
  • Introduced to the concept and activities behind the gameboard.
  • Hands-on experience using the tool in a real simulation.
  • Key principles for how to use the tool and apply it to your organisation.

Learning in the digital age

In this session, we will take a look into the future of learning. We want to give you concrete insights into why and how you should harness the power of digital learning technologies.

Learning technologies and approaches

The learning technology seminar is for everyone with an interest in e-learning and learning in general in organisations. At the seminar, we will touch upon:

  • General learning and behavioural design trends to give you an overview of where we are and where we are heading with digital learning design.
  • Subscription-based learning and how to create deeper learning by spacing learning bites.
  • How to apply gamification methods to your learning design to engage your learners, using game elements.

Gen Y

Gen Y is the future of your company – and they are positioned to make an enormous impact. At this workshop, two Gen Ys will offer their view on how to attract and engage the next generation of talent. At this workshop, you will get:

  • Facts about the generational composition now – and in the near future.
  • Insights into traits and motivational factors for this generation in the workplace.

Future leadership

At this workshop, we will explore the following key questions:

  • What do the organisations of the future look like, and how are they structured to ensure strategic execution power, organisational reflexivity and internal coherence?
  • What will the organisations of the future require in terms of leadership? What will leaders be doing, and what will they need to be capable of?
  • What are the first steps to be made in moving the organisation from hierarchy to a more agile and reflective structure? How might we get started?

Learning Lab

Learning Lab will be a highly engaging wrap-up of the learnings from day one, where you will get the chance to get the key insights from the workshops you did not attend but also discuss the topics that you are passionate or curious about and did not have time to talk about during the day.

Wrap-up

  • Final reflections and inputs on future topics to inspire the HR community in 2018
  • Sharing of key takeaways
